Opening celebration of Iris Foto Lucerne in Rothenburg
On 18 February 2024 we celebrated the official opening of our studio in Rothenburg.
On 18 February 2024 the moment arrived — Iris Foto Lucerne officially opened its atelier in Rothenburg. To avoid confusion: Iris Foto Lucerne was the very first Iris Foto Schweiz location — already active for 4 years in Hochdorf (Lucerne) before that.

A fine drop for our opening
Our move took place in early September 2023. We welcomed our first clients in Rothenburg on 20 September.
Why only now an opening party in Rothenburg?
The reason is fairly simple: October to December is our absolute high season — there was simply no time to plan a proper opening event.
An opening in February, and on a Sunday?
Alessandra and I wanted the opening on a day when we weren't competing with other events.

That was a pretty long Iris Foto magazine piece
Sandra from Iris Foto Seeland brought «Nidlekuchen» (a cream tart from Lucerne). Vito and Lori came in from Aargau. Flurina (Iris Foto Basel) travelled in the evening before. Rita, our iridologist, took the time to join us. Alessandra kept busy at the prize wheel, raffling off iris photo shoots.
A special thank-you goes to my dear friend Kristof! He drove almost four hours from Heilbronn and helped me with everything from Wednesday to Monday.
